Chopin & Schumann presented by the University of Pretoria Music Department and the Embassy of Poland in Pretoria.

1. CHOPIN & SCHUMANN EVENING – entry R50 / R25 (at the door)

Ruth Goveia (piano): Chopin – Sonata in B minor, op.58 and Schumann – Davidsbundlertanze, Op.6.

2. CHOPIN LUNCH-HOUR CONCERT – entry FREE
MUSAION Wednesday 1 September 12:30
Piano works performed by young pianists: Mart-Mari Snyman, Misha Meyer, Braam van Eeden, Frants Preis Francois Labuschagne.

3. CHOPIN EVENING – entry R50 / R25 (at the door)

‘Cello Sonata, Piano Trio, and piano works performed by: Anneke Lamont (Piano), Janette Rottcher (Piano), Nina Phillips (Piano), Frants Preis (Piano), Sophia Wu (Piano), Calayde Davey (Violin), Neil van Zyl (‘Cello), Berthine van Schoor (‘Cello)

4. SCHUMANN EVENING – entry R50 / R25 (at the door)
MUSAION Thursday 2 September 19:30
Vocal and organ works performed by student and lecturers:
Antoinette Olivier (Soprano), Wessel van Wyk (Piano), Deirdre Blignaut (Soprano), Hentus van Rooyen (Organ), Anneke Lamont (Piano), Christopher Vale (Baritone).
