Minor changes to aural tests

There will be minor modifications to ABRSM aural tests affecting all graded music exams from January 2011.

Giving worldwide

In September, ABRSM donated thousands of music books and CDs to 21 schools worldwide.

New requirements for Bowed Strings 2012

Look out for the revisions to Bowed Strings scales and sight-reading requirements and the new set pieces for Violin graded music exams that will be introduced in 2012.

Details of changes and new supporting publications will be issued in July 2011.

ABRSM music shop – expanded and enhanced

New Specimen Aural Tests

Taken from ABRSMs three-volume critical edition of Beethovens 35 piano sonatas by renowned Beethoven specialist Barry Cooper, these individual sonatas also come with a comprehensive commentary and history of each work.

Past Theory Papers and Model Answers 2010

These publications include four separate papers from the 2010 Theory exams and model answers at each grade, providing essential practice material for all ABRSM Theory exam candidates. They will be released in January 2011.
