The Drakensberg Boys Choir School seeks suitably qualified persons for the below mentioned posts with effect from January 2011.
(Position requirements are outlined.)
Business Manager
• Work closely with School Management and the Board of Directors.
• A minimum of 5 years financial management experience.
• Annual financial statement preparation.
• Knowledge of income and payroll tax.
• Knowledge of Pastel and Excel.
• Technical and specialist duties included.
Conductor/Music Teacher
• Assist in directing and conducting of choirs with the Director of Music.
• Show competence in various performing genres.
• Have advanced choral conducting experience.
• Show keyboard competency and experience to assist in the coach of performance repertoire.
• Teach Music Theory, Aural and Practical instrumental tuition.
• Perform with choirs at national and international performances and rehearsals.
• Possess skill, knowledge and experience in vocal/choral coaching.
Music Teacher
• Teach History and Appreciation of Music to Gr. 4- 9.
• Teach Music Theory, Aural and Practical instrumental tuition.
• Have choral coaching experience.
• Show keyboard competency and experience to assist in the coach of performance repertoire.
Accompanist/Pianist/Music Teacher
• Possess skill, knowledge and experience in vocal/choral accompaniment.
• Have advanced vocal and choral accompaniment experience.
• Coach performance repertoire, and assist in the preparation of new repertoire.
• Teach Music Theory, Aural and Practical instrumental tuition.
Successful candidates will:
• Fully support the ethos of the school.
• Be committed to the duties associated with an independent boys’ boarding school.

i have a choir named Thokozani Choral society based in Durban at KwaMashu we would love so much to make a colaboration with you we are strugling to get a sponsor so we need a new uniform we never had a proper uniform because we dont have a sponsor.
